Preparing localized store screenshots

Presenting store images in the target market's language noticeably lifts installs — the user grasps the value proposition instantly in their own language.

What to localize

  • Captions: the most important part; translate for each language.
  • The app content in the screenshot (in that language where possible).
  • Text on the feature graphic.

Practical workflow

  • Build the design once; only swap the text per language (keep the layout fixed).
  • Play language codes can be regional (tr → tr-TR); name folders accordingly.

Vitrinshot has language tabs: you write each panel's caption per language and export goes out as "language × target" in one zip — no need to rebuild the layout.
