Google Play screenshot sizes (2026)

Google Play accepts more flexible sizes than the App Store, but there are still rules. Screenshot requirements:

| Aspect ratio | 16:9 (landscape) or 9:16 (portrait) |
| Recommended | 1080 × 1920 (phone); tall ratios like 1080 × 2340 are fine too |

| Format | PNG (24-bit, no alpha) or JPEG |
Tablet screenshots
7" and 10" tablet tabs are separate; if you target tablets, fill these too — Play shows them to tablet users and may warn "not optimized for tablets" if missing.
Tips
- The first 2–3 images can also appear in search results; put your strongest first.
- Keep text large and legible; Play shows small previews.
